Gmail QR code generator

Spelling an email address aloud or squinting at a flyer rarely ends well. A mailto QR code opens a new message already addressed to you. Enter your Gmail address and download the code.

Start an email to your Gmail address in one scan

Enter the address people should write to. Scanning opens a blank draft addressed to it in their mail app. Example: yourname@gmail.com

Templates are hand-built style presets (colors, gradients, dot and eye shapes), not AI art. They keep your logo, frame, shape and transparency, and every one is dark ink on a light background with at least 4.5:1 contrast. The scan check above still judges your final design.

Business cards and flyers

Give readers a scannable way to contact you without typing the address.

Add it to a poster for sign-ups or questions sent to a shared inbox.

Shop window and market stall

Let customers send an enquiry out of hours.

How it works

  1. 1

Decide which address people should write to; a dedicated inbox keeps replies organized.

  2. 2

Type the full address into the field, including the part after the @.

  3. 3

Download the code and scan it with a phone to confirm it opens a draft with the right recipient.

  4. 4

Print it with the address written underneath as a fallback.

Frequently asked questions

Does it only work with gmail.com addresses?

No. Any valid email address is accepted, including a Google Workspace address on your own domain.

Will it open the Gmail app?

It opens the phone's default mail app. If Gmail is the default, it opens there.

Is my address exposed to scrapers?

Anyone who scans it sees the address, same as printing it. It is not stored on a page crawlers can index.
