MyQRCreate

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-07

See also our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

MyQRCreate ("the service", "we", "us") is a QR code generator and a link-redirect service, operated as a Tegminestar product, operated by Tegmine Star LLC ("Tegmine Star LLC"). By using the website or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Static and dynamic QR codes

Static codes encode your content (a URL, text, WiFi details, a contact card and so on) directly in the image. They are generated in your browser, need no account, and do not depend on our servers once you have downloaded them. We cannot change, track or disable a static code after you have created it.

Dynamic codes encode a short link on our domain (for example /r/yourcode) that redirects, or shows a landing page, based on content you store with us. This lets you edit the destination after printing and view scan analytics. A dynamic code only works while our service is running and while the owner's account is in good standing (see Trial, subscription and billing).

3. Accounts

Dynamic codes require an account with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to create, host or redirect to content that:

  • is malicious, including phishing, credential harvesting, malware delivery or scams;
  • is illegal, infringes others' rights, or is defamatory, harassing or abusive;
  • deceptively disguises its destination, or impersonates a person, brand or organisation.

You must also not:

  • abuse, overload or probe the service, the short-link redirector or the scanner, or bypass rate limits or the free download allowance (for example by automating downloads or rotating cookies or IP addresses);
  • scrape or automate access in ways that degrade the service for others;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data or infrastructure.

To report a malicious code or short link, use our Report Abuse page.

5. Your content and responsibility

You keep ownership of the content you create and upload (including text, links, contact details, images, PDFs and videos). You grant us the limited right to store, process and display it as needed to run the service, for example to serve your landing page when someone scans your dynamic code. You are solely responsible for your content, for the destinations your codes point to, and for having the rights to anything you upload. We do not review content before it is published.

6. Suspension and removal

We may pause or disable a dynamic code, or suspend or close an account, if we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, is being used for abuse, or is required by law. Where practical we will try to notify you, but we may act first when there is a risk of harm to others. Static codes already downloaded are outside our control.

7. Trial, subscription and billing

  • Static code design is free, with no watermark and no account. Without an active trial or plan, downloads from the website (QR codes, barcodes, and each code in a bulk ZIP) are limited to 10 per rolling 24 hours per browser. This is a usage allowance tracked with a cookie and your IP address (see our Privacy Policy); we may change it with notice on this page. Codes you have already downloaded keep working.
  • New accounts get a 14-day free trial of dynamic codes. No payment card is required to start the trial.
  • When the trial ends, a 14-day grace period begins. During it, your existing dynamic codes keep working when scanned, but creating and editing codes is locked. Subscribing at any time restores full access.
  • If there is no active subscription after the grace period, your dynamic codes stop resolving until you subscribe. Subscribing brings them back; we do not delete codes for this reason alone.
  • Pro is a recurring PayPal subscription, currently $4/month or $30/year. The price charged is the price of the PayPal plan you subscribed to, and existing subscribers stay on the plan price they signed up for until they cancel and re-subscribe. We may offer limited promotional pricing from time to time.
  • Payments are processed by PayPal. You can cancel from your PayPal account; after cancellation your access follows the same grace-period rules as an ended trial.
  • Refunds. If you cancel a paid subscription, you are refunded the unused portion of the period you have already paid for, prorated by the number of days remaining. Refunds go back to the original PayPal payment method, and PayPal may take several days to show them. If PayPal can no longer refund an older payment (PayPal limits how long after a payment it can refund it), we will arrange the same amount with you by another method. Free trials involve no charge and need no refund. If you cancel and do not see your prorated refund in PayPal within 10 business days, email info@tegminestar.com and we will sort it out.
  • Accounts created before the trial system was introduced are grandfathered with full access and no subscription required.
  • We may change prices for new subscriptions and will update the Pricing page when we do.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every QR code will scan on every device and in every print or display condition. Test codes before printing at scale.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or zero if you have paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and Tegmine Star LLC agree that any dispute relating to the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms, and any legal notices to Tegmine Star LLC, can be sent by email to info@tegminestar.com, or use the contact form on the Help page. We do not publish a physical mailing address; email is our channel for notices.
