Google Maps QR code generator
Give people a scan-to-navigate shortcut instead of making them type a street address. The code holds the place name, address or coordinates directly, so it keeps working forever with no account and no tracking.

Open a place or coordinates in the maps app

Templates are hand-built style presets (colors, gradients, dot and eye shapes), not AI art. They keep your logo, frame, shape and transparency, and every one is dark ink on a light background with at least 4.5:1 contrast. The scan check above still judges your final design.

Who uses a Google Maps QR code
Venue and event invitations
Print the code on tickets and invites so guests get turn-by-turn directions without copying the address.
Market stalls and pop-ups
Mark a temporary pitch with exact coordinates when the street address is not precise enough.
Trailheads and campsites
Coordinates work where no street address exists, such as a car park at the end of a forest track.
Property viewings and deliveries
Put the code on a door sign or delivery note so couriers and visitors find the right entrance.
How it works
- 1
Decide whether to use an address, a business name plus city, or coordinates.
- 2
For coordinates, right-click the spot in Google Maps and click the numbers at the top of the menu to copy latitude, longitude.
- 3
Paste or type that into the field here. Do not paste a share link; the code builds its own map link from your text.
- 4
Download the code and scan it once to confirm the pin lands in the right place.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I paste a maps.app.goo.gl link?
This code type builds the map link itself from an address or coordinates. If you already have a share link, use the Website QR code instead.
Address or coordinates, which is better?
Coordinates are exact and unambiguous. An address is friendlier to read but can resolve to the wrong place if it is common or incomplete.
Will the code ever expire?
No. It is a static code, so the data is encoded in the pattern itself and no account or server is involved.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes. The camera opens the map link in the browser, and iPhones usually offer to open it in the installed maps app.
