MyQRCreate

Google Docs QR code generator

Printed pages go out of date; a Google Doc does not. Point a QR code at the live document and readers always land on the current version. Paste the share link and download the code.

  1. Choose a type

  2. Add your content

Open a shared Google Doc from a scan

Open the Doc, click Share, set access to Anyone with the link, then Copy link. Only docs.google.com/document links work. Example: https://docs.google.com/document/d/…/edit

  3. Customize the design

    Templates

1,413 style presets in 15 categories

    Showing 1-24 of 1,413 templates

Templates are hand-built style presets (colors, gradients, dot and eye shapes), not AI art. They keep your logo, frame, shape and transparency, and every one is dark ink on a light background with at least 4.5:1 contrast. The scan check above still judges your final design.

Who uses a Google Docs QR code

Standard operating procedures

Attach the code to equipment or a workstation so staff open the current steps, not an old printout.

Meeting agendas and notes

Show the code at the start of a session so attendees can read or comment on the shared notes.

Rental and guest guides

Leave a card in a rental with the code to your house manual, which you can edit anytime.

Press kits and one-pagers

Link to a view-only Doc from a printed flyer so interested readers can read the longer story.

How it works

  1. 1

Open the document in Google Docs and click Share in the top right.

  2. 2

Change General access to Anyone with the link and choose Viewer (or Commenter) so scanners cannot edit.

  3. 3

Copy the link and paste it here; it should contain docs.google.com/document.

  4. 4

Download the code and test it in a private browser window.

Frequently asked questions

Should I give Viewer or Editor access?

Viewer for anything printed publicly. Anyone who scans an Editor link could change the document.

Will edits to the Doc appear for people who scan later?

Yes. The code stores the link, and the link always opens the latest saved version.

Why was my Sheets or Slides link rejected?

This page accepts Docs only. Use the Google Slides or Google Drive pages for those, or the Website QR code for any other link.
