Google Drive QR code generator
Drive links are long and awkward to read out or retype. A QR code lets someone open your shared PDF, photo folder or handout with one scan. Set the sharing level first, then paste the link here.

Templates are hand-built style presets (colors, gradients, dot and eye shapes), not AI art. They keep your logo, frame, shape and transparency, and every one is dark ink on a light background with at least 4.5:1 contrast. The scan check above still judges your final design.

Who uses a Google Drive QR code
Photo albums from events
Print the code on a table card so guests can open the shared folder and upload or download pictures.
Course handouts and slides
Put it on the last slide or a worksheet so students get the files on their own phones.
Menus, price lists and brochures
Link a PDF stored in Drive so you can replace the file without reprinting, as long as the share link stays the same.
Contractor and site documents
Fix the code to a site office wall to give crews the latest drawings or checklists.
How it works
- 1
Find the file or folder in Google Drive, right-click it and choose Share.
- 2
Under General access choose Anyone with the link, pick Viewer, and click Copy link.
- 3
Paste the link into the field here. Only drive.google.com and docs.google.com links are accepted.
- 4
Download the code and scan it from a signed-out browser to confirm people can open it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I update the file after printing?
Yes, if you replace the contents in Drive without deleting the file. The share link and therefore the code stay the same. Uploading a new file creates a new link.
Why does it ask people to request access?
The file is still restricted. Change General access to Anyone with the link, or the scanner will hit a permission wall.
Is anything uploaded to your servers?
No. Only the link text is encoded in the code. Your files stay in Drive.
