Frequently asked questions
Does the passcode get included?
Only if it is part of the link you paste. Join links copied from Zoom usually include an embedded passcode in the pwd parameter.
What if I reschedule the meeting?
A recurring or personal room link stays valid. A one-off meeting that is deleted or ended no longer works, and the static code cannot be redirected.
Is anyone who scans able to join?
Anyone holding the link can try. Use a waiting room or a registration requirement in Zoom if the meeting should not be open.
